MERCOLA ISOCRYL REPAIR WET APPLY is a high-performance, ready-to-use, flexible, fibre-reinforced solvent-based waterproofing repair compound designed for immediate waterproofing repairs.

Its thick thixotropic formulation based on pure acrylic resins and reinforcing fibres allows application even on damp surfaces, during rainfall and in areas subject to ponding water. It is particularly suitable for emergency local repairs on roofs, terraces, gutters, joints, cracks and other difficult areas.

Not suitable for

• Unprotected final coating on pedestrian traffic areas. Walkable terraces require a suitable protective finish such as promenade tiles.

Instructions for Use

• The substrate must be structurally sound and free from dust, grease, oil, rust, loose material and other contaminants.
• Remove moss, lichen and organic growth.
• On wet substrates, remove contaminants and preferably brush away excess ponding water.
• Stir thoroughly before use.
• Apply directly from the container by brush or spatula in one or two uniform thick coats.
• Ensure cracks and gaps are completely covered with sufficient material, allowing the incorporated fibres to bridge and permanently seal them.

Coverage

• Approximately 1–2 m²/L depending on application.
• Sloping roof: 1 coat at approximately 1 m²/L.
• Sloping roof subject to ponding: 2 coats at approximately 1 m²/L.
• Gutters: 2 coats at approximately 1 m²/L.

Cleaning

• Clean tools immediately after application with white spirit or nitro solvent.
• Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
